I'm as much a unicorn as anyone but you're acting as if it's unusual they have had an interaction with a male at some point in their life. Even if they hadn't done in pre hololive in collabs, they've talked with men countless times growing up unless they were locked in the basement.

Focus on the here and now rather than splitting hairs over the fact that she might've talked to a guy at some point. I get not wanting male collabs, I hate them too, but this is a bit much

The problem is that a decent chunk of hardcore viewers who immerse themselves in a single vtuber or single group and have an Oshi are usually losers by nature, because they have all this free time to talk about, speculare, and watch every stream ever while also having a bunch of disposable income to throw at someone they don't even really fully know. It's crazy how much people want to deny that these girls are an emotional crutch, and then you have the types in that group who get pissy when it's insinuated that their streamer of choice might be into guys. If you want to totally divorce the person behind the character, you basically can't because of how much personal life shit most of them talk about to keep their streams entertaining for hours on end
