The timezones worked out perfectly since they'd be on while I was at work, and I'd throw them on as background noise.
Some jp streamer talked about Haachama for some reason and I looked her up watched a (now deleted) vid of TABS and then YouTube started recommending me other hoops. I ended up becoming a fan about half a year before gen 5 debuted and then Polka became my oshi.
I still mostly watch JPs because the timing works for me schedule but I appreciate ENs like Kiara and now Raora and CC who also stream at times I can tune in.
