>>84789474This might be a controversial take, but I usually don't like the orisongs of the vtubers who focus on singing. It's cool that they're such a good singer, but I'm not sure that's a big variable in the formula for a good song. I can't name a single Whitney Houston song and I'm willing to bet most people I know can't either. It's the same thing with guitarists. The best guitarists are guys that most people don't know. You have to be some kind of aficionado to appreciate them, a layman like me won't get it. If the song's fun and catchy, I'll listen to it, but if there's no buzz and they're someone who spams covers/orisongs, I start getting this feeling that probably none of them really stand out and I can skip them. Sometimes this sucks and I miss out on a good song, but if it's really a good song, I'll hear people singing it in streams or events, so it's fine, I'll get to it eventually.
