There are 4 bases. The goal is to hit the ball into play. If ball is hit in play you try to touch the bases in order. As long as no one is behind you you can stay at any base. If you are tagged off base you are out. If the ball is caught in the air you are out. If you swing times and/or the ball crosses the strike zone 3 times you are out.
If you advance all 4 bases yout score a run. Hitting the ball out of the park is an automatic run the highest score outside some weird shenanigans is 4 runs in a single hit.
The game is broken into inning each team is allowed 3 outs per inning. The home team bats bottom of ever inning. If the top of the 9th inning ends with the home team leading the game is over.
