>>84828705Lol as soon as I saw Kiara (AND EVERYONE ELSE) on the Yandere sound pack list I couldn't really take it seriously, but maybe (maybe?) that was the point.
You figure everything they do is controlled. Their persona. Their choices. How they do what they do. How they entertain. Etc you get the idea.
In short to do proper yandere you'd have to be willing to stand on top of a multi floor building with your beloved and be willing to push them off and jump so you'll be together at your moment of death because nothing else is worth living for. That's hard to capture if you're not used to it.
All of them (even Michael Cat) can stand on their own two feet. They're independent people.
They could reach into their crowd of superfans and pull anyone up onto the stage and live happily ever after (in theory).
Yandere needs a desperation their characters just don't normally exude, because it's not so much mourning your lack of love but your determination to grasp the slippery, oily thing heart that's just out of reach.
Then they have to direct that towards the listener for the soundtrack. Not sure how they'd really do that since it's so vague (it has to be for broad appeal).
It used to be a really big subculture and to be honest a lot of the videos that used to be made were really good for learning Japanese because you could go from romaji to hiragana with them.
For example.

But I think the more obvious answer is that it probably a just for fun thing. Honestly I think Yandere stems from a fear of marriage and permanence, but my take on it is painted by having to write a few of these characters. You figure out what works and what clashes with the character archetype.
