Pippa had me thinking about this of late. She started out super high pitched, then got a bit less high pitched over time, and I remember her trying to rationalize that this was a natural progression in her voice, or saying that of all vtubers.
And now recently she's shown that all of that was a fake voice. It almost seems like cognitive dissonance.
