As for the corpos, it is a threatening enviroment, but a lot of corpos don't really have adjusted to a situation that's favorable to them, only but a few don't have major issues currently going. Indies in the other hand, keep the environment fresh and renewed, people dislike VShojo's 2020 uprising, but it opened the door to less people getting involved in Hololive and direct their carreers in another path. The same can be said for the future of indies.
As natural, with the entertainment business there be always be drama and scandals. It's literally a impossible variable to control. And more recently, vtubers have adapted themselves to be a market on itself, Twitch has only damaged mainly appearances (no big titty underboob), while Youtube has the same problems for everyone.
Looking at things, we still have one or two more years of this infancy.
