Japan doesn't get shit on nearly enough for their noise autism. You can't talk to your friend on the bus, train or subway. You can't talk to your friends while out to dinner with them. You can't casually chat on the street. You can't raise your voice louder than a whisper at home. Need to sneeze? Hold on their mr. foreigner-san that's a fucking warcrime. If a japanese person ever hears sound in any form, manner or capacity they scream and cry and shit their pants and then call the cops. Music? God forbid. You can't even fuck without someone two doors down complaining your plaps are too loud.
A two-week stay at an airbnbn was genuinely the worst experience of my life. The accommodations were fine but holy fuck I learned to hate japanese people. The reason there are so many love hotels and karaoke bars isn't that they love fucking and singing, it's because those are the only places you can exist above a whisper without keisatsu yonderu.
