Jokes aside, that's why I added the caveat about liking a particular streamer. Obviously those are going to be a lot of fun for the fanbase.
To clarify if you look at the karaoke streams they usually draw in a larger crowd; to the degree karaoke streams can be used conservatively to hit sub goal streams. This usually means they have a lot of people who haven't subbed floating around that are already into the content. Karaoke works.
That said karaoke is usually a small portion of their stream content. I like to think of it as different vocaloids singing the same song. You may prefer one over the other, but how do you interact with the streamer (assuming in the first place you want to) with chat zooming with clap emojis and people coming and going.
I know first hand it IS possible. I've had streamers humor my song suggestions and give them a shot. Really I'm wondering how others, consistently, interact with their popular oshis or if they're not as popular how do you go about it.
