Apparently due to the ichioshi talk (holo meet n greet event) (https://hololive.hololivepro.com/events/meetgreet2024/) not many holos were able to be guests for tomorrow's big stream. But she got these two pink and blue fellows! Very mysterious

She saw aqua, like she said she would. First Aqua came to her apartment and they talked a bunch. Marine doesn't remember anything they talked about.

On a later day, Marine had to do some artwork for something work related (something we haven't seen yet), so she sent Aqua a message implying she wanted company while she work. So Marine screenshared the thing she was drawing with Aqua while she worked on it and Aqua was signing stuff, and they talked a bunch about life over voice chat.

Marine finds it easier to work on stuff when she's being watched, because she feels a need to make progress because she wants to avoid the other person saying to her 'hey, you're not making any progress'
Plus Aqua really respects artists, so Aqua is constantly amazed and praising Marine's skill while she works which feels good for her

The groupchat from that stream still occasionally sees some use, and when it was announced that Aqua was graduating, Mito messaged in it: "Is it true, Aqua!?" and Aqua was like "Yes, it's true..."

And they decided to all have a groupcall, and during the groupcall they said hey lets all go out to dinner.

Also there was an aborted collab with Mito, Natori Sana, Debi, and Marine, a while back. They even decided on a date and everything but Marine wasn't able to keep the date open, leaving it to be rescheduled, which never really happened.

After dinner Marine invited Mito over to her place, because Mito didn't want things to be over. Honhima went home at this point because she had an early day the next day. Aqua initially went home but then changed her mind and went to Marine's place afterwards after all.

Marine got Mito a beginner's magician kit as a gift so Mito was practicing magic tricks while Marine was signing stuff.
Mito noted that Hololive people seem to be perpetually signing stuff.

She got the gift with an eye to thinking that Mito could use it as material for her youtube videos.
Mito seemed receptive, she said she was collecting stuff like that.
Marine had very specific ideas of how to use it and which other Niji members could be used in the video in which ways.
She's not sure whether it will actually go ahead, but Marine had very detailed suggestions apparently.

Watch out for it or something like it on Mito's channel, I guess

Marine messaged her affronted, saying Kanade was the one who asked to be Marine's daughter. Kanade responded to her, saying "shut up, I want a kind mama"

Apparently at the time Kanade was with the rest of regloss, so she told everyone how Marine was laying into her.

So marine got a message from Ao telling her how all of regloss were laughing about Marine laying into Kanade. Marine explained what she was annoyed about, and then she got another message from Kanade saying "hey don't go tattling to Ao-kun" But of course Marine said the same thing right back.

And this is the context that preceded the Twitter fight they had yesterday

It's been at least 4 years since Marine has driven a car. She didn't think anything of it at the time, but she's scared thinking about it now. She doesn't think she'll ever drive again.

Even when Marine goes back to her hometown, she gets either her Dad or her Sister to drive for her. Plus she rarely ever visits home anyway.

Marine contrasted her with other kinds of people with social problems, like Aqua, who is a loner but one that wants to stand out and be admired, even though she's bad at interacting with people. Marine's sister by contrast doesn't want to stand out, and doesn't even want people to know of her existence.

But Marine says her sister has a really nice voice and can sing really well.

Marine wants to show off to people how nice her voice is. She used to go to karaoke with her sister all the time. There weren't karaoke places nearby, so they would have to get in the car and drive for 30 mins to get to a place. They would have to cross a prefectural border to get there.

anyway they used to get 6 hour blocks at karaoke and sing the whole time. marine used to never understand how people would lose their voice or have troubles with their voice because back then she used to be able to sing indefinitely like that and have no issues.

Now that her voice has broken on her once those days are over, she can't do anything like that anymore
