Shannon has streamed games with Patterns, the guy who helped her make those Mori Calliope covers for her remix parties, who may be tempted to join. Not saying they will, though.
Given that one part of the application process is to emulate what a typical stream would look and feel like, even people with no streaming experience could theoretically get in.
TL;DR - Male branch is going to be a gamble, likely plucked from musical or non-vtubing spheres.
