Yet you can easily cross-reference with an [EN] chatter's translations to see similar or identical readings.

Because watching an archived stream with a quick and dirty translation is superior to not watching it all, or worse, waiting for clipper scum.

Yet you see no issue doing this with anime...

Here is what I suspect. The main reason EOPs still exist, even though the problem is solved with three clicks, is because many do not want to break the illusion that JP vtubers are speaking esoteric, hidden knowledge. Well, sometimes they do that, but you get what I mean.
