You literally have no excuse to be an EOP anymore, when this feature exists. I can already predict the copes:>But it's automatic and makes lots of errors! Yet you can easily cross-reference with an [EN] chatter's translations to see similar or identical readings.>Why even bother with such a feature, when it only applies to the VOD? Because watching an archived stream with a quick and dirty translation is superior to not watching it all, or worse, waiting for clipper scum.>It's too much effort to pay attention to subtitles, since I leave the stream in another monitor. Yet you see no issue doing this with anime... Here is what I suspect. The main reason EOPs still exist, even though the problem is solved with three clicks, is because many do not want to break the illusion that JP vtubers are speaking esoteric, hidden knowledge. Well, sometimes they do that, but you get what I mean.

are you retarded "lots of errors" is a massive understatement. you'll be lucky to find a single sentence that matches what's being said unless it's someone who speaks extremely slowly. there's shitloads of ways to learn japanese. this is not one.

>But it's automatic and makes lots of errors! >Yet you can easily cross-reference with an [EN] chatter's translations to see similar or identical readings. Big assumption that a chat translator is present or active, there. The auto-translate thing is okay maybe 10% of the time but the real issue is it just skips entire minutes of conversation more often than it just makes mistakes. Live translation tools will only get better but we're still some time away from perfection. I look forward to spending my retirement home life watching long-graduated chuubas' vods with perfect subs.

>the solution to being an EOP is not getting off your ass and doing yoir reps but instead adding a shitty voice recognition that sucks ass and fails to accurately register what is being said half the time with a shitty MTL that is know for having massive translation errors and maybe hoping that some N5 SEA brownoid ESL who took 3 months of Japanese is there to confirm the auto translate is right Now this is some next-level retardation

>>85421445 I really enjoy watching JP ESLs like Henya and Kasii trying their hardest to learn English. It's really fun teaching them new words and how to pronounce them, or explaining some element of western culture they don't understand. You also get to see them grow and get better at collabing with English speakers over time, and funny misunderstandings due to the language barrier also make for some great moments.

>inb4 just learn JP no, I'm not gonna bother with a 4th language when the market of chuubas is this oversaturated.
