But management has power over talents, and that power imbalance would be ripe for abuse were they allowed to fraternize. Managers are the mediators, so if a manager is acting inappropriately, a talent doesn't really have recourse. Managers also manage multiple talents and need to remain impartial, which would be impossible if they were dating one and not another. And it also opens up opportunities for exploitation, like a manager cutting off talents from support or actively undermining them unless they provide romantic or sexual favours.
Plus having a hard rule like that discourages people from applying for manager positions just because they want some menhera idol ass.
