>>8551717That's because LoGH IS the Napoleonic Wars. Consider: low nobility claws his way up through merit and political maneuvering and crowns himself Emperor. He has a star lineup of excellent Marshals who somehow suck balls when he's not around. His bureaucratic staff are corrupt and untrustworthy, but his people love him this side of death. I'm a bit rusty on LoGH but there are definitely closer parallels in the show.
