>>85505139It seems like at least 80 percent of women believe in ghosts if I'm being careful not to overstate it. Its a significant and real divergent tendency. Their IQ scores prove they're not just stupider there's something psychologically going on.
I think the stereotype of women being more socially minded(dovetailing with accusations of being more deceptive), reading more into the actions of others, having a lot of subtext in how they speak to other women especially, it comes from the fact that as the weaker gender physically, managing the emotions of others by being sensitive to them was a survival strategy. Can't defend yourself, have to be in people's good graces so you're not killed by one of the men. But what this impulse towards reading people and trying to influence them through sociability rather than force lends itself to, as a sort of overactive empathy, is antropomorphisation. A subtle but pervasive tendency to project consciousness onto things that don't have it, or project consciousness where it isn't. Their neural software for modelling the minds of others starts trying to build a model on top of strange noises at night, or something they think they saw out of the corner of their eyes. Literal phantom minds all around them.
