I liked both Niji and Holo GTA servers, and the people complaining don't seem to have watched the Niji server either from how they're describing it.
Probably Stogra server viewers, since that one is mostly about Cops vs Robbers, 200 days in.

The idea of a bunch of people playing a game together on a server was probably invented in the 1970s, roleplaying was invented much earlier than that. People startede uploading vods of gameplay with the advent of broadband internet, livestreaming has been a thing since around 2005 or 2007 at the latest.

There is nothing original about either Niji or Holo setting up a server for their members to play a game on together for the entertainment of the audience.
