>>85632345I know nobody wants to blame this, and I will be called a shitposter and an anti for saying it but to me the only think that makes sense is her lack of interest in the idol side of things. And yes, I know she had fun during Breaking Dimensions, that's probably an experience she's never going to forget but when asked about a second OG song she mumbled and said something like
>oh I'm not musically inclinedher slowing down and burn out coincides excatly with the times Hololive started focusing more and more on Idol stuff. She skipped most voicepacks, straight up saying she doesn't like them, she skipped the New Year's concert, like I said had no intention to do any other song, etc.
Being an idol looks fucking hard, and Ame has always wanted to be a streamer for a long while, but can she do that when everyone in Holo and Cover expect her to spend days and weeks and months learning dances and songs? She clearly didn't if we look at her streaming record. Ame was at her peak during Covid and early Myth days because Cover just let them alone to do their thing. As soon as Cover went full 100% on the idol side with concerts and shit is when she went into her slump.
I also think that since then Cover has gotten clearer on their audition process which is why it takes longer but look at the newer gens since Advent and all of them have been going strong on the idol side of things because they joined fully aware of what to expect.
