Like let me paint a scenario of HOW Coco's could have been the Dokibird scenario for Hololive.
Imagine Cover doing as they actually did by putting Coco and Haachama on suspension for a period of time. Now we split the timeline and in this new alternate timeline, Cover decides to termination Coco and Haachama. In a menhera fit, Coco attempts to take her life but we don't hear about it for a week until she vagueposts about it on her other account. An already smoldering Hololive fanbase blaming the Chinese branch and fans for causing the loss of Coco and Haachama would have gone apoplectic.
THAT Scenario is how Coco could have been Dokibird. Fortunately cooler heads prevailed and while Coco did suffer, sometimes silently, for months while dealing with CN anti bots, she left on her own terms in a beautiful yet bittersweet farewell tour 9 months later.
Coco's exit by no means is anywhere near as toxic and destructive as Dokibird's was.
It HAD the potential to have been but fortunately it wasn't.
