reaction vid, well, they react to the video, commenting on things, talk about their own experience that similar to what going on in the video. and they wait for the OG video to get proper views before react to it.
and then there leeches, it just reposting the video with extra step. dead pan face through out the video (or those fking chibi image "reacting" video), low quality, low effort, video end and they goes "heh, that was pretty awesome, like and subscribe". Or react within a day of the OG video release.
IMO, genuine reaction vid are beneficial for the reacted content creator, reactor ussually react to things their viewer request (overlapped fanbase that already seen the video), and the people that haven't seen it get expose to the video and might follow the OG content creator.
Let's play, game streaming ect. that is also reaction content. You want to see the streamer react to certain section of the game.
