Last year she streamed almost half as much as the year prior, and this year that number was basically cut in half again, so that now it's something like less than 1 stream per week on average if you exclude this past month.
It would be one thing if this happened like two years ago but at this point "Ame as a special guest character that appears every fifty episodes in a surprise appearance" is just the logical progression.
I enjoyed Ame when she was streaming, but her streams already felt more like a rarity with maybe a brief period where she was motivated for two weeks before disappearing again for two months. If now she appears only every few months or so for a special event, that's not too far of a leap.
And who knows, maybe there is the off-chance of being away for a few years might make her interested in coming back more motivated again. I don't count on it, but it's at least a possibility, rather than continuing like this...
