Cheating is a betrayal of trust, but so is abuse and threatening rape, worse, it's criminal. Many people would say that when you go that far then you don't deserve anything let alone trust. Most anons would be perfectly fine betraying or backstabbing someone that did it to them first, let alone did it to them criminally.
The only reason people are on this abuser's side is because they're mixed up in their own feelings of trauma and resentment. They can't think straight and have to make it an "evil woman" thing, but they don't realize they never had to hitch their wagon up to a loser's sinking ship. They're so caught up in their need for a sense of belonging that they'll defend scumbags like this when it's pretty obvious, and it doesn't have anything to do with them, it doesn't reflect on them until they support it.
All these online influencers are scumbags to some degree, and they all surround themselves with other scumbags. It doesn't have to involve anyone else, just let them do this to each other.
