>>85730563It's unfortunate, but I do agree with what you're saying.
That's also definitely something to be on the lookout for when it comes to questions like
>Who's the likeliest to graduate? The answer isn't people who are like, quiet or anything (Like Gura, who is clearly less active than most, but is still actively participating in a lot of the bigger stuff and clearly enjoys that), but the ones who you could identify as "having peaked at something before, but are now listless, a bit distant with people, and less active."
If I were to go down the list of girls, I don't really see any other ENs in her situation, luckily, but it's worth running through to define this to show how Ame differed.
>Still so new and actively chasing the highs of Hololive that it's not even worth categorizing them anymore beyond "safe to assume are locked in"Advent and Justice as a whole
>Obviously engaged and highly active in HololiveMori, Kiara, IRyS, Bae
>Obviously engaged in the big projects of Hololive, even if sluggish in the day to dayGura
>Not as highly active in Hololive projects and stuff, but still chasing goals and engaged in the content they produce as well as the people around them, even if irregularlyIna, Fauna, Kronii, Mumei
Ame stands out in Hololive EN for how she wasn't very engaged in the big stuff on the same level after early Myth (the New Years thing made that much obvious), wasn't very active in streaming despite that, wasn't in many collab groups or just collabs in general for a long, long time, especially when it came to one-on-one collabs, and when she did pop in, she usually defaulted to "safe, old connections" over pursuing anything new with the newer groups, or even new dynamics within the old groups she had been in.
That same reasoning actually applies to all of the girls who have graduated on good terms. Aqua was in the same cycle, barring StartEnd. Coco was very obviously feeling like she was going to be stuck in a listless holding pattern forever after the Taiwan incident and subsequent clampdowns Cover put in place to try and stop that from happening to girls again, and Sana, well God damn man she speedran the "Holo debut to listless and distant" pipeline like a pro. But that same token also makes me feel safe for the rest of HoloEN at the moment, even the ones who are irregular when it comes to streaming, because they're still showing up and making new connections with new people when it matters most.
