There will come a time, soon if we aren't already there, where the only "big" events outside of holofes are sololives, and they do not happen for enough talents to grow it and its image.
At which point hololive will either drop off and stagnate so fast it folds, or it retraces its past. If Yagoo is around a year from now the latter will happen.
What I meant by this stupid wall of text is that Ame, Aqua, and probably others, are leaving because the company is too big to provide what made it popular. I can see Ame and perhaps even future graduates return if hololive fixes its current issues, which it needs to to not fall to obscurity.
Cover does make attempts at solving this with new projects like holowitches but that does not actually reverse the course.
