It's literally physical labor capacity. Like, old people having to be physically taken care of and that taking up the resources of people in terms of time and opportunity.
I'm sure that production and the general societal framework will be fine even through the population leveling out to a norm over the next 20-30 years or so. But the thing that people gotta worry about is how it takes a lot of time and energy from young people to support the majority of elderly people, barring the ones who are both financially well-off and physically capable of living without assistance.
Like, a lot of people in their 30s and 40s will be spending a lot of time on caring for their parents, which gives them less time to do things for their own personal growth. That's the issue that people gotta worry about.
