I think this entire drama is gay and all parties are retards but I think Froot releasing the doc the way she has is a big retard move. Everyone knows the cheating allegations and her choosing to tiptoe around them while writing 90 pages about alleged abuse just makes it look like she’s trying to spin a narrative in her favor. It doesn’t look good. I imagine she did it this way in hopes of having people like (You) who read the document, see no evidence/mention of cheating, and are too confused by the situation to understand what she’s trying to do.
I know admitting to the cheating would be bad optics which is why she doesn’t mention it but I would have put more credibility in her statements if she had simply admitted to it, said she was in the wrong for that, and emphasized in the document that both parties are in the wrong. Or if the cheating allegations are completely false she should have still addressed it and shown proof of it being false.
This entire situation is fucking stupid, from bringing up years old drama that neither side should have ever made public, to all of the indie vtubers supporting her not because they actually have an opinion on the matter but because they want to earn brownie points. Granted, the latter is an issue with the vtuber scene as a whole where socialization and support of one another has been turned into capital so people only comment on shit situations like this in order to get into the good graces of bigger vtubers.
