>>86045264While that's unrealistic people ever will, because Twitch and YouTube have pretty much made the shitty ecosystem they have for their viewership and Vtubers airtight in the worse sous-vide smelly plastic bag they could find, I'm still wondering what'd happen if a platform like Kick, Rumble or Picarto decided to steal the flag by proposing some monetary and TOS revolutions for Vtubers, and have waves of Vtubers and fans attracted to their services all in a sudden.
Can they withstand the charge? I mean, unrelated but when X went with their shitty reforms on Twitter, Misskey had to switch to an invite-based beta because it brought people who wanted a decent platform, but also the audience they didn't want, all while overloading their servers.
If there was a competitor especially tailored for Vtubers and their fans, it has to already be a giant and clearly make themselves known as a Vtuber haven. Because the bubble is just that massive now.
