>>86076130This is so weird cause I was just thinking earlier about how I would like to name my potential future daughter Amelia if I could and I wanted to talk about it. This is a weirdly specific thread to just come up.
Anyways, I really like the name Amelia. The fun of the shortened form, how it means "rain" (something i like a lot), I can't fully put into words. I guess all of the feelings and the general vibe that I associate with "Ame" is what I would be very grateful to have from a daughter. Even though I never thought of Watson as a daughter figure or anything like that. I just think she's a sweet, cute, funny girl.
Oh, and there's also Amelia Bedelia which is another sweet and funny character.
Only thing I dislike really is the trend with girl's names ending in a vowel. "Melissa, Anna, Barbara" etc.
A name like "Elizabeth" or "Madison" would be nicer in my opinion but they also aren't as endearing
