The EN style unicorn is usually more stringent than nips, but nips used to be more stringent than us before and became more normalfaggy over time while EN space grew more fanatical/tribalistic/dramafaggy over time(both did this but EN did more of it proportionately in less time while having next to no normalfags coming in)
The state of unicorns in the EN scene shouldn't be surprising at all, IMO. People here should be perfectly aware of how addicted we can get to polarizing extremes.
