Ao exists to be the stand-in male in hololive. Some holos want to do things like "talking to a male host and getting seduced by them" content but they would never do it with an actual male, so they use Ao as a stand-in for that.
But the end result is still that it shows that they would like to do these things with guys, so it can annoy some. If holos act horny over Ao acting just like a man... then it just means they'd be horny for a man too.
