i always feel strange when people attribute the entirety of vtubing to EN1 when it's more of a factor of the right product at the right time
like streaming has been a thing, anime girls have been a thing
some people (some) act like vtubing in general was this revolutionary thing when it has been around before, even in streaming form (see iinchou) so I get the feeling it would be way better to judge people for being a good entertainer (like ame) than a whole new concept
