One, because it's banned in a lot of countries.
Two, because there's a lot of ENfags (especially on reddit) who continuously seethe about Elon.
Three, because they don't actually care enough about the girls, they only care about having a "community" to not feel alone, which the reddit circlejerk provides.
There was an entire comment chain under Kronii's tweet whining about how "I miss seeing holo girls' interactions" as if they have no way to actually see them if you wanted to.
I fucking hate these types man, just slimeballs that attach themselves to every hobby in the most surface-level way and breed on top of the skin like parasites.
