People on this board (yourself included) wildly overestimate how much money Hololive talents make.
I'm sure Ame has made good money, but definitely not enough to retire.
Furthermore, the reaction of the overwhelming majority of people to an increase in income isn't "I better stash some of this away," it's "I can raise my living standards."
This is especially true of youtubers, virtual or otherwise.
So many people have pissed away small fortunes they've made from streaming/content creation that there are entire channels dedicated to documenting their decline.
