Actual opinion, the hololive landscape has changed hugely in 4 years. 4 years ago, a holo would do one 3d project a year for fes and if they were super lucky, they might get a 3d live for their birthday if they helped fund it. Idol activities were minimal. When en first launched, idol culture was (and still pretty much is) non existant in the west. En weren't hired as idols, they were first and foremost hired as content creators. Skip forward 4 years and idol activities have ramped way up. The expectation for holos to release songs and participate in 3d concerts is way up, the need for singing lessons, dance lessons, learning choreo and everything else that goes hand in hand with idol activities is magnitudes higher for en now than it was when they started. Now, there's nothing wrong with this of course, it's always seemingly been where cover wanted to take hololive but if I was Ame, and my passion was in content creation, I wouldn't hold it against her at all for leaving. The expectations of her job have changed since she wast hired and no longer aligns with what she wants to do.
