Yeah, for whatever reason they were originally branded as Nijisanji India, but then Hololive EN happened and Niji suddenly seemed to realize that they had three streamers who spoke English as their "first " language. So they hastily and half-heartedly rebranded them as Nijisanji EN.

What sucks as EN streamers is that since they're based in India, they:
>Have the India power & internet experiences
>Time slots that work for them only work ok for EU, don't work for JP or US really
>PC parts, consoles, and games are relatively more expensive
>Aren't assumed to speak English (well) by newcomers

And because Niji can't make up their mind about how official they are, they don't get a lot of official attention. They didn't even get their own compilation video of Nijinyan. I mean, I know it's only three of them, but still; means it should have been easier to to paste together. They didn't bother.

They already went through the trouble of making the videos for each of 'em, why not put them in a compilation as well now that they're already at it?

Nijisanji IN was rebranded to EN before Hololive EN debuted and caused the vtuber boom (and no one could have expected them to have exploded as much as they did).
They then quietly slotted the three back into the IN branch. I never watched them beyond a few videos and I know the branding is just in name, but shit, Ichikara did the absolute bare minimum for them.

This is totally wrong.
Nijisanji IN, then Nijisanji rebranded them to EN in June 2020. HoloEN happened later. Niji rebranded them BACK to IN, then pretty quickly afterward announced they were taking EN auditions. They are no longer EN.

The weirdest thing to me was how they just didn't fucking advertise them at all under the new branding. It's like Ichikara thought that just switching the name would be good enough to boost their views and everyone would magically find out about it. Double rebranding just hurts the image of the three of them, it gives them an image of being a "fake" branch.

Both Indo Niji and Holo branches get most of their donation/membership revenue from overseas fans and the ones who consistently get donations mostly speak Japanese and English. If a chuuba doesn't frequently stream in these languages they're basically doomed.

I Feel like this is more likely, maybe not the entire branch but at least one or two in there, i feel like Latin-Americans seem to be way more interested in the idea of a foreign girl (mostly Japanese because weebs) speaking Spanish, that's why Nene has so many native spanish speakers as her audience (at least compared to other Chuubas)

Niji just failed to find someone who can stream regularly. I feel like cover would've been much more successful compared to Niji if they expanded to India. It's all about finding streamers who can frequently stream and know both Japanese & English while simultaneously being entertaining. Because at the end of the day most donations and memberships will come from US, Japan, Canada and other similar countries just like in the case of HoloID.

I really think that is a big component of it. Them not streaming all that much. It is kind of surprising Noor has grown as well as she has in that context to me. Imagine if she was doing something more like Bora is doing right now and streaming nearly everyday while collabing frequently instead of streaming once or twice a week if you are lucky. I'm sure they probably have things going on in their own life that prevent them from doing more or whatever so I don't blame them for it particularly though.

Even if they're doing an ID prominent stream, they'll usually respond to English comments if the chat is slow enough (which it usually is). Can't say I agree with that other poster, you and him may have just got unlucky and happened upon a few too many of their streams where they spoke mosty Indo. Yeah really only Hana is Ms. Worldwide, she also knows a bit of Korean and Java too, whereas most of the others only know a bit of rudimentary Japanese besides English and Indo (and Bon can speak Flip for some reason). I agree that knowing more languages will net you more viewers, it's only common sense. It's not always true (Case in point: Iofi) but it certainly doesn't hurt you chances either.

Maybe I've watched Niji ID a bit too much so I'm a bit biased and mentally filter when they're speaking Info, but for many of them it's more like 50/50, with Miyu, Bon and Zea talking 70%-90% English most of their streams.

I know, nothing against Iofi personally but I'm just not into rhythm games though. She also said she's happy with her numbers where they're at. I can't blame, if it keeps her chat from getting crazy like say, Amelia's, then maybe it's better this way for her personally.

As for Hana, it's obvious college has been literally sucking the life out of her. The only time we really get to see her high-energy anymore is during collabs or when she's been playing Omori recently. Her streams here known for being "chaotic comfy" as she called it, but it's obvious college has thrown off that balance. Once college finishes I think we'll see Hana normal again.
