It's a huge time and money investment though, a starter set is $140-160 USD and you still need clippers, glue, paint, amd brushes, so it's more like $200 to start from nothing. And time, building and painting takes a ton of time as well, my first starter set took like 20 hours Ober the course of a week and a half to build and paint everything.
If you do get in don't buy the rule books though, those are a scam and get FAQ to the point of being paperweights, just pirate them.
