And yeah everyone that follows her knows she was Ame but it's still not a huge amount of people. Besides Ame wasn't even that big even during Holo. She was comfortable in the middle and she kept to herself in regards to indies. You could see someone making this joke with Gura because she's huge or Kiara because even though she isn't that big she's always hanging out with indies.
My point is, this mention was so random and out of nowhere I can't think of why he would drop it if they haven't talked before. I'm certain most of his audience would know Ironmouse, that's obvious. But most probably have no idea who Ame was.
