After Neal and Riku take their cuts, that's less than three bucks apiece for the four of them - barely enough for one plain slice of pizza with no toppings, and nothing to drink with the food.
For the sake of comparison, if an indie vtuber gets a $50 superchat, they get to keep $35 of it after Neal's cut (but before taxes). And many medium indies regularly get multiple $50-or-more SCs on regular-ass gaming streams or zatsus; hell, lots of small indies get more than $33.36 in superchats on regular streams.
It's all but officially over for Niji EN, and everyone knows it, and there's fuck-all they can do to prevent it or even delay it. And it can't be any more "over" for the branch without AC's official announcement.
I can't help but wonder whether Niji EN is gonna outlive Production Kawaii. Yes I know that PK has announced they're closing, but they have not actually closed yet; they will exist until November 30, but it's not 100% guaranteed that Niji EN will last that long before upper management decides to stop throwing good money after bad.
