more often than not it's only within the context of their roleplay and what they're really saying is that they just like to imagine those things, or they are simply lying or bluffing in order to get attention.
Where things went wrong is you are autistic, called her on her bluff, and she was forced to admit through her lack of a reply that it was indeed a bluff.
