Pretty clear cut.
Then like last Spring the new rule book for the faction came out and it had a vignette about a character that was POV and used female pronouns. Some people asked if it was a typo on social media. (GW is notorious for having typos in their rule books.)
An intern on Games Workshop's Twitter account said that it was a female Custodes and then whent on to gaslight and say there have always been female Custodes and then blocked over a hundred people who posted evidence to the contrary.
It was a whole shit show.
