Why the fuck would I watch some dumb broad play vidya when I could watch niconico roujins on twitch like Jun, Hanjou, Yuyuta, etc. who are better at games and more entertaining? The fact that they are part of a box that makes them a part of an evolving narrative is a huge boon that cannot be replicated.
Also, everything western feels super cargo cult, and HoloEN has only recently started becoming more acceptable to me.

I only casually watch Rica, and I only followed mikhail felinus during that hilarious niconico roujinkai arc where she became (even more of) a lolcow and everyone was spamming her chat. Kson's content got/is boring and I barely even consider her a vtuber anymore, and Delta I never cared for to begin with, just wasn't there long enough.
