>>8772293I think you vastly overestimate how much money they make.
Kaichou, who was at the top, could probably only just fully retire with what she made by the time she left if she were smart about it and placed it all into something that passively generates income, and continued living with flat mates.
Rushia, who now has more, could retire doing the same minus the flat mates, because she didn't get hit by the foreigner tax Kaichou likely did.
Most everyone else would still have to continue working if they were to quit. Yes, they enjoy streaming, that's why they're here, but money 100% plays a part. Many were on the edge of quitting a couple years ago because it's unstable and they were sometimes not making enough to get by.
They might make bank relative to a normal job now, but most of them still need to do this for 5+ years at the current level before they could actually stop and be financially fine, and that's still only if they manage their money well. You can't expect that from any of them that are heavy into gacha.
They might not have to consider money when it comes to what they choose to do, but that's dependent on the tumor. Some want more money than others, after all, and we only know which is which if they say it out right. Few do that, most we have to make assumptions based on their actions to try and figure it out. Not that I feel we should, but still. Saying money is a non-factor is just as bad as saying it's the deciding factor.
Holy fuck I am autistic. I was gonna just not post but I wrote it so fuck it.
