>>87569490>>87569528This might not be really helpful to male vtubers, apologies in advance.
>How to avoid being groomed when you start getting higher numbersTurn off dms on discord and twitter. Handle all commissions of assets on VGen, email, or skeb more. American/Latino artists love to waste your time, but European/Asian artists are concise. Try to centralize private interactions to one to two platforms. I receive fan mail from viewers on Tumblr or Google Voice with an American phone number just to avoid trolls/hate. Others use marshmallow q and a.
>Dangerous things to watch out for on people who approach youI don't know, most of my interactions with people have my mods monitoring it in discord or are public on twitter. Try not to get baited with negativity.
>Most efficient tactics for doing GFE and least useful onesI'd say the most efficient tactic for GFE was proving I'm not taken by sleeping in call on discord frequently. Telling people my schedule of work and free hours. Doing ASMR, reassurance etc.
Least useful ones? Probably tweeting your menhera thoughts out, it sours the mood but it does help marketing your account on twitter. QRTing "us" on twitter is also low effort and lazy.
>What items to add on throne and whenAutists in the hobby like to see repeated items, so having a collection of the same brand/item, (in my case cinnamoroll) helps a lot with throne.
I dwelved into fleshposting so if you want to send people photos of yourself with the items they bought you, it helps to keep track of it. I track it through google forms and spreadsheets. As for getting a pricey hairdryer/straigtener, $500 gift cards, again fleshposting helps with that. Unfortunately viewers do want to see you with the products so you have to sacrifice anonmity for that.
>How to tastefully do GFE and get enough resultsI unfriended most people from discord and deleted most males from my friendslist. I guess that's the most authentic I can get, sacrificing all my time that could be spent on online friendships with my viewers instead.
>Pros and Cons of completely doing GFE and where/if there is any point in stopping once commiting to itpros: my mental health feels better, self esteem is better
cons: I don't have much time for myself
I don't think I could stop because I don't plan on dating 1 on 1 ever again. My last relationship made me lose all hope. I genuinely see all of this as a romantic relationship.
>Should a GFE chuuba do Fansly/OnlyfansMaybe, if the stigma gets better. I do NSFW posting sometimes but I don't paywall it with fansly/onlyfans because I don't think girlfriends ask their boyfriends to pay for it, you know? You should only open up/sign up into new platforms if your viewers demand it from you. None of my viewers at the moment are in favor of me opening up a fansly/onlyfans so I don't think I'll do it anytime soon.
>Get comms with males or just lewd female solo onesI only skebbed one NSFW piece, so I'll get back to you later when it's done.
>How many collabs should a GFE chuuba doPersonally I don't think you should collab at all but if you have a good relationship with other female vtubers, probably once or twice a week so your boyfriends can see you interact with other women. I don't know how to maintain online female friendships with women so I avoid doing it. It's best to avoid things you're not skilled at rather than giving it a chance.
>Talk about IRL experiences or notI do it all the time. It's good to be able to have someone to relate to.
>>87570070Interact with them on discord/twitter, make sure they feel welcomed, put a lot of effort into appreciating their existance, kiss ass more, etc. Movie nights together.
>>87570202Yeah you lose out on a lot if you pander to anything around vtuber culture. You can use the anime avatar as something visually appealing, but anything in the vtuber culture from news, drama, to humor all suck and are mediocre entertainment. Try to branch out and to pander to your viewer's interests. Gaming helps a lot.
I thought about it some more, but I think male vtubers can benefit from not collabing at all. It feels super cucked watching a guy collab with a female or male and feeling left out. It's best to weaponize your individuality by expressing yourself on twitter and on stream your opinions about the things you like and that are trending online. You might think "who the fuck cares" but your viewers do. and that's why they watch you in the first place :)
