Without going into a lot of details and numbers, the genital-mind ratio in women is 10% and the genital-mind ratio in men is 50%. To understand this, that means that 1/2 of the time when a male is aroused, it is because he is "mentally" aroused as well (he wants to be aroused, or he is seeing something arousing) while the other half of the time it is involuntary.
In the same way, 9/10 times the female body is aroused without necessarily having a "mental input" from it. The study only "demonstrated" this mismatch with female porn.
To give more perspective on the issue, rape scenes in movies or manga also turn women on, and not all of them WANT to be raped. Even some get turned on by a tasty meal, and don't want to have sex with it.
It happens with men too, to a much lesser extent. Getting aroused during a moment of adrenaline, or during an exam are some examples (not so many with men).
tl;dr a marketing study is the hope for /u/schizos. Sexual identity =/= sexual arousal.
