>Cover bonked Ina because (they think) she did a naughtyand
>Cover dun goofed on the paperwork, and the Japanese government bonked Ina for itLike the other anon said, Ina was suspended by Japan's immigration ministry, not by Cover. More or less the same thing happened to Petra when she first moved to Japan - government didn't care that her job is one which can be done from literally anywhere in the world with an internet connection, and forbade her from doing anything at all which could ostensibly be considered "work" until her student visa was changed to a student and work visa. It's a miracle the government even allowed them to tell their respective managers that they couldn't legally check their twitter DMs, without deciding that holding conversation with a coworker counts as "work."
