I am STILL upset about Aruran’s attitude about his whole model change. Either he should’ve straight up said it was his idea, management or a mix of both not this whole lore shit because it’s just too much to handle in one sitting. The only reason Astel was able to pull it off is because you can tell he was distant from his original model and while it was impossible for Aruran, he really shouldn’t have locked his lore behind high tier memberships, that way most Familiaran would have understood what was going on. Even then, when membered Familiaran criticized him a bit on Twitter… that’s definitely a big issue because it shows he didn’t convey his feelings about his model change properly.
Also why on Earth did management promote this like a new outfit when it was first announced?! It clearly wasn’t, I think Cover probably knew they messed up on that because from then on, i.e. Fubuki, Vesper, they made it crystal clear that any future model changes will be announced and specifically say it’s a remodel
Am I being a schizo for holding onto this shit for so long? Absolutely. Am I missing important context because I fully can’t understand Japanese? Most likely. I still don’t think he should’ve responded to that one person on Twitter and said to find a new oshi if people don’t like his new form so much— be mindful that this was only after a few days of his change— because what the actual hell kind of reaction did he expect when his model changes after using a specific one after 3 years?! Of course not all Familiaran were going to accept that change right away
