If Cover let her do llvery literally anything including join other corpos, trash talk Cover etc and still keep her on a sweet deal for merch cuts, then that's IMO giving too much away and provides very little argument against why tons of holos shouldn't do likewise as Ame and ditch them with a merch deal. So I would guess this affiliate thing might have strings attached, like she can't shit on Cover or her former identity etc. maybe can't join another corpo as a vtuber. But the thing is she is known enough that she should be fine on her own anyway like Doki. I kinda suspect Dooby is even designed to play with the Doki name. Like if they collab they could their pairing Dooky, not so subtly trolling the seething niji sisters still trying to shit on her daily here.
