The theory is that, you 'train' the algorithm to filter viewer better if you streams in one time zone. Gura, Ame and Mori are more jumpy when you look at their schedules.

Assume 10k or 12k are actually watching, you have to somehow get 100k people to watch for at least thirty seconds but also close the tab in under five minutes or it will start jacking her ccv to the moon. It was only 100 minutes long so that’s an insane amount of churn to account for. I find it funny when people cite ccv as the one thing we have “hard numbers” for compared to ad revenue or memberships but it’s clearly not reliable. I feel like views are the only things worth trusting since they is what YT own metrics and payments are based on. Their contracts might be a relic of a time before live streaming but it means views and ads would be less vulnerable to fuckery.

To be fair neither of these were really serious tournaments. They were more casual things.

The last actual Mario Kart tournament Hololive did was the one in January was it? The one that had the players organized in 3 blocks with a losers bracket and the final bracket. The one that Suisei won. That one got pretty big numbers.

Ina clearly prepared herself ***and*** her audience for the competition by playing it on stream before.

I have a theory: part of the reason Sana is getting dunked on is her name. Make fun of their weird ass names all you want but searching for "sana" or even "sana ch" doesn't autofill or bring her channel up as the top result. Sana is just too common in too many contexts. Aki and Kiara I suspect may have suffered from a similar problem. Gura, Mumei, Kronii have the advantage of having near exclusive claim to their key search terms. Just a hypothesis.

If they are referring to the tournament in December of 2020, the winner has 111K views on his stream. Maybe there are referring to a different one? For reference Towa has over 1M views on her stream as host. Not really up on Niji's so not sure who most of the participants even are.

This is the median of average viewcount, not peaks, so you won't see many Holos getting 20k+ because only Pekora and Marine can sustain a real 20k average.

Question: is Hakos’s views at this time proof that you shouldn’t move to a different time after mostly establishing your viewership elsewhere? She’s moving around to much. People might have subscribed to her earlier because it was at a convenient time for them.

Also given this viewpoint, maybe Sana shouldn’t move the time on her next schedule away from Gura, because it may not be at the right time for her current fanbase? She seems to have created her own base at that time, even if it caused an initial loss on the amount of people checking her out.

I seriously don’t know though.

Anyway, it's a good time in NA, but Rat has almost 50% JP chat from what i see, the rest are probably in Gura's stream.
Most likely she built from her previous 2 streams being in JP prime time and that she can speak it.
It's also a good time for a chill morning stream for JP and Aus, but not a time for max views.
She should be fine, especially if she wants to stick more to her JP audience over NA.

Above Melissa, below Ibrahim. Overall upper-mid tier seems like a fair placement for her.
