>>878117>growing any bigger than animeanime growing was limited by anti-asian media sentiments since 2000-2010. The only region unaffected was SEA and SA region. EU is racist as hell and only read shounenshit, and Americans were stuck with reality TV shows. Things changed since 2016, and now the Japanese media appreciation went through a sort of renaissance.
Anime didn't bloom as much in this time period still, since there are still middlemen faggots like Funi and Crunchyroll censoring the media and purposely change its contents. People are still pirating anime because the service are so shit.
Hololive (and to an extent Bushiroad) are setting things right by internally process their content to be enjoyed with overseas. No more retarded gatekeeping. Heck, even SIF overseas version are to be up-to date with the Japanese version, Bang Dream lives are promoted to overseas, they know the gaijins are willing to drop the cash. New media are adapting to anime aesthetics straying away from CalArts designs. Vtuber is the way forward.
