My guess is a far less charitable one. I think it's just Filian being greedy and lazy again. And entertaining as she is, her fansly prices, AI chatbot prices, on top of how much money she makes in subs and super chats literally every single stream, ON TOP OF her idolization of garbage clout ravenous streamers like Mizkif, Filian is a money hungry Twitch culture laden girl through and through.
No problems continuing to use Rindou instead of a remixed version from scratch, legally, so she'll continue to. This girl lives in a pigsty with more money than she can even spend in a lifetime, and still wants more.
It'd be more surprising if she was actually investing her money into her content, getting crazy VR shit like those force feedback "gloves" (a bunch of servos you attach to the back of your hands, and let you physically feel virtual objects), an omnidirectional treadmill, commissioning mods for stuff to use this psycho VR gear in games with (like elaborate Filian themed Skyrim VR mods), commissioning original songs about her and commissioning beat saber maps, I could keep going on. The point is Filian has the energy and money to do basically an infinite amount of really cool shit that leverages her greatest strengths, and will continue to just scrape by doing bottom of the barrel shit, but framing it as primo content. Like, come on, yes it's gross to eat a scorpion lollipop, but the fucking thing is so cheap you can buy those fuckers in bulk. Snackers could be getting an endless cavalcade of kino, but everyone is content for Filian to just sit around and yell at YouTube videos
