She basically opened with her moral stance, then explained her stance regarding Froot.
It's conceptually similar to the post that got Totalbiscuit labelled as a GamerGate supporter. Where he opened up with his moral stance, then explained that he at the time has no stance on the issue, as long as the truth is unclear.
The internet being the internet basically took the opening statement, being the moral stance, and warped it's meaning to as stance on the specific issue. Then proceed to ignore the rest of the post.
